I made a quick little wedding card for the Celebrating Past and Present at Papertrey For my money holder wedding card I used the Damask Designs and sentiment from Enjoy the Ride stamps. Embossed with Wow Silver Pearl.
So they're asking for a favourite for Past Present Future at Papertrey I found a few favourites when I browsed to make my pick. I think this one is the winner! It was for a shaker card challenge a few years back.
This is my card for this week for the challenge over at PTI Make it Monday "Stamped Dangles". This also works for their challenge at Celebrating Past and Present The stamps I used are from PTI sets Paper Tray and Out on a Limb and paper is Black and White Basics. The whimsical owl is from Unity. Definitely a fun challenge!!
And here is a sample I played with just to give it a try.
For details on this card challenge go to the Casual Friday Blog (Music to my Ears theme) and Simon Says Stamp (Color of Love theme) For my card I used the Casual Fridays treble clef die. I cut the pink little hearts from the bottom of the same die. For the gold lettering I used my Minc machine with gold foil. I added a bit of wink of STella pen. Hard to see and a bit difficult to photograph with all the shine. Very simple card but the gold really packs a punch!!
This week the challenge is to work with patterned paper. Check out the details HERE I used PTI papers, Hawaiian Shores, Chocolate remix for the background and Tea leaves for the butterflies. the word is cutout with Stamplorations die and butterflies with a Sizzix die. I gold embossed the edges.
My second card for this week is for the Make it Monday Capture the Moment challenge at PTI. Lizzie created a pretty Valentine card for the challenge. So here's my take on it. I used PTI Polka Dot Parade owl stamp and die, the grass is done with a stamp from Garden Variety and used the Background Basics Woodgrain. The pink felt is also from PTI. Branch die is from Wplus9 and sentiment and heart stamp from Averyelle.
